PARTICIPATION
ALL are welcome to run or walk this USATF certified 5K course (TX12004ETM). We encourage families of all ages to participate.
For safety reasons: Please no bikes, scooters, roller blades, headphones, or dogs. All young children must be accompanied by a registered adult on the race course and at Sylvan Beach.
 
RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Race Day Registration (CASH OR CHECK ONLY) starts at 6:15 a.m. and ends at 7:00 a.m. - DON'T BE LATE!
 
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The LPHS Project Graduation 5K Run/Walk is looking for companies to be involved with this event. ALL sponsors will be acknowledged in the Race Packet. Title sponsors ($250 and greater) will be featured on the race T-shirt. Please contact LPHSProjectGrad@yahoo.com
 
COURSE CERTIFICATION AND TIMING
Race course will be USATF Certified (TX12004ETM) and timing for this race will be provided.
 
AWARDS
Medals will be given to the Top 3 Overall Finishers in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-30, 31-50, 51 and up.
 
RESULTS
Results will be posted on the website. Please check back after race day.
 
REFRESHMENTS AND AID STATION
There will be an Aid Station with water located around the 1.5 mile point. Finish line food and drink will be available.
 
PACKET PICK UP
Packet pick up will take place on Thursday Oct. 23rd and Friday, October 24th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the LPHS and Race Day morning starting at 6:15 a.m.
School districts employees will be dropped off at their home campus. 
 
PARKING
FREE Parking will be available at Sylvan Beach Park. Overflow parking is available at La Porte High School.
